Data protection is at the heart of Recomend's philosophy. This policy details the data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. In short: we do not sell your data.

2. Collected Data
We only collect data strictly necessary for the application to function: your email address (for authentication), your username, and your usage data (rated movies, reviews, lists). Your passwords are stored in an encrypted (hashed) and secure manner.
3. Purpose of Processing
Your data is processed exclusively to: allow you to create and manage your account, display your lists and ratings, and ensure the technical operation of the service. We do not use your data for advertising profiling purposes.
5. Retention Period
Your data is kept for as long as your account remains active. If you decide to delete your account, all your personal data (email, username, reviews) will be permanently erased from our databases.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
In accordance with regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, transfer, and erase your data. You can exercise these rights at any time directly within the application or by writing to us at: [email protected].
