These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") govern access to and use of the application Recomend. The application is published by Loup (hereinafter "the Publisher"), based in Paris. Registration on Recomend implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
1. Service Overview
Recomend is a free application allowing its users to consult information on movies, publish reviews, rate works, and create personalized lists.
2. Account and Security
Access to contribution features requires creating an account. The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials. In case of fraudulent use or suspected hacking, the User must contact support immediately at: [email protected].
3. Code of Conduct
The User agrees to remain courteous and respectful in their reviews and lists. Strictly prohibited are: hateful, defamatory, or racist remarks, harassment, as well as spam or unsolicited commercial promotion. The Publisher reserves the right to delete any content violating these rules and to suspend the account concerned without notice.
4. Intellectual Property
The User remains the owner of the reviews they write. However, by publishing on Recomend, they grant the Publisher a free, non-exclusive license to display, reproduce, and technically adapt this content within the application. Visual elements, code, and design of Recomend are the exclusive property of the Publisher.
5. Personal Data
Respecting your privacy is our absolute priority. Recomend does not sell, rent, or share any personal data with commercial or advertising third parties. Collected data (email, username, app activity) are used solely for the operation of the service and account management. You may exercise your rights of access, modification, or deletion (GDPR) by contacting: [email protected].
7. Advertising
The application is currently offered without any advertising. Should this model change, users would be informed via an update to these Terms.
8. Liability
The Publisher strives to keep Recomend accessible 24/7 but does not guarantee the absence of interruptions or bugs. Movie information comes from third-party databases; the Publisher cannot be held responsible for potential inaccuracies in these records.
9. Applicable Law
These Terms are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably via [email protected], the courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
